Reunion & Commencement 2007: Reflections
On May 27, 2007, parents, grandparents, other family members, and friends, proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2007 on Andrus Field.
The celebration began on Friday evening at the Champagne Reception for graduating seniors and their families and friends, hosted by Carol and Ed Robinson, parents of Jenn ’07 and Jacob ’04; plus other proud families of the Class of 2007.
On Saturday, grandparents and their graduating seniors gathered for lunch, hosted by Erika Estis, grandparent of Dena Rosenberg ’98 and Adam Rosenberg ’07. The entire Rosenberg family welcomed the more than 200 attendees, and all enjoyed the music of the Wesleyan Spirits a cappella group. Midge Bowen Bennet also welcomed grandparents and other family members to campus, delighting the audience with her own experiences as a grandmother.
The Office of Parent Programs & Development is pleased to acknowledge and thank the Robinson family and Erika Estis for their generosity in hosting these events on this very special occasion.
On Sunday, Jim Lehrer P'85, anchor of The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, delivered the commencement address.
