Subject: General Room Selection (GRS): Housing Considerations for Academic Year 2013/14

Dear Wesleyan Students,

Students requesting a specific housing consideration due to a disability, medical or psychological condition must initiate the process no later than Wednesday, March 6, 2013 by contacting Scott Backer in Disabilities Services (sbacker01@wesleyan.edu or 860-685-2332).This includes students who have previously sought a housing consideration and may require one for 2013/14.

Housing assignments in response to a request for a specific consideration are only provided to students who demonstrate a documented disability or medical reason. Competing consideration requests are also prioritized based on medical priority. Please note that housing considerations are only for the student requesting the consideration and may not include current or potential roommates. Housing offers may not necessarily be considered class appropriate or represent your first choice in housing but will address the needs of your disability or medical issue.

If you have any questions, please contact our office at reslife@wesleyan.edu or call us at 860-685-3550.

Thank you,

The Residential Life Staff
