PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT

4/7/13

On April 7, 2013 at approximately 2:44am, a female student reported to Public Safety that she had been assaulted physically and the individual had also attempted to sexually assault her. The victim stated she had attended a party at approximately 1:30am, at the Beta Fraternity house on High Street. While at the house an unknown male approached her from behind, pushed her to the floor, kicked and hit her, and then attempted to sexually assault her.  During the assault the suspect was alerted by a loud noise, the victim was then able to kick the suspect and flee the area. The student received several injuries and was later transported to Middlesex Hospital for minor injuries. 

The student described the suspect as male, '5 10" athletic build, wearing khaki pants and a light color shirt.
