Subject: Wesleyan Anticipates Being Open Monday

To the Wesleyan Community:

The University anticipates being open tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 9. University officials are monitoring the storm and if conditions change, you will be alerted through Wesleyan's emergency notification system by 6:45 am. Crews will work overnight and early Monday to keep parking lots and walkways on campus as clear as possible. We ask everyone to exercise extreme caution when outside on campus. Snowy walkways may be difficult, so please wear appropriate shoes.

Tomorrow, we ask you to report slippery conditions that require immediate attention by calling work order control at (860) 685-3400.

The University’s Adverse Weather Policy states that employees should use their judgment about coming to work, and it provides additional information for employees who do not feel they can safely come to campus.

Faculty who are unable to hold their classes as scheduled should ensure that their students are informed promptly about schedule changes.

Please call Public Safety for help with storm-related matters, (860) 685-2345. For emergencies, call (860) 685-3333.
