Some important notes regarding housing:

The room selection process for next year’s housing has begun.  Information about the process can be found at   Wesleyan does not charge a housing deposit for the following year, as all students are required to reside on campus.  Our diverse housing stock offers a variety of housing options for students to experience throughout their undergraduate careers.  However, since there is a limited quantity of each type of housing, the more flexible students are in their preferences, the more likely they will be satisfied with their housing selection.  A number of rising sophomores may not receive a housing assignment until over the summer, after space has been created through attrition.  They will be notified via email as soon as they have been placed.

Student residences close on Saturday, May 18 at noon.  We encourage students to leave campus within 24 hours after they complete their exams, so that those who are not yet done may focus on their studies, and so that we can clean and prepare rooms for use during Reunion and Commencement.  Graduating seniors are permitted to stay in their residences until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 27.  With the exception of graduating seniors, any student who wishes to stay on campus beyond May 18th must receive prior approval from Residential Life.
