Student Life

Students at Wesleyan live very full lives outside of their academic experiences, seldom feeling a need to leave campus to do so. The breadth of opportunities for fun, entertainment and personal growth is impressive.

Athletics: Intercollegiate schedules, news and results; recreational fitness facilities; intramural sports program.

Broad Street Books: Online textbook selection and purchase; e-books; bookstore hours; in-store (45 Broad Street, Middletown) selection of school supplies, Wesleyan logo merchandise, and mainstream books.

Campus Dining: Bon Appetit Management Company; dining locations and hours of service; meal plan options.

Career Resource Center: Career counseling and development; internship opportunities; alumni/parent career network (accessible by students); volunteer opportunities for parents and alumni.

Center for the Arts: Arts events and exhibitions on campus; box office.

Center for Community Partnerships:  university-community collaborations through the combined resources of the Service-Learning Center, the Office of Community Service and Volunteerism, and the Office of Community Relations.

Chaplains: Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Protestant chaplains; spiritual life at Wesleyan.
 Any student who plans to miss classes during the upcoming Muslim or Jewish holidays (Ramadan Sept.1-Oct.1, Eid September 30-Oct.1, Rosh HaShanah/Yom Kippur, September 29-30, and October 8-9) is expected to speak with her/is professors as soon as possible. Questions about the holidays may be directed to the University Chaplains.  Students who have questions about class attendance and assignments should consult with their Class Dean."

Residential Life: ResLife staff; housing descriptions and rates; community standards and policies; program housing.

Student Activities and Leadership Development: Student organizations; out-of-classroom experiences; the Wesleyan Student Assembly (WSA), the legislative and deliberative body for Wesleyan students.

Student Services: The Dean of Student Services and the Dean of Campus Programs are responsible for providing a variety of programs, experiences, services and leadership opportunities that support and complement students’ academic experience.
