ParentLine was initiated in 1995 by members of the just beginning Parents Council as a parent-to-parent voice that would communicate with the university and amongst Wesleyan parents.  Writers for ParentLine transmitted personal experiences, provided contact information to answer parent questions quickly, conducted interviews with administrators and faculty, supplied information about resources on and off campus, and relayed news from the volunteers who led our Parents Council efforts.
