Rope and Three Students

A long Rope is suspended between a fixed object and a student (or two large students hold either end)
Pulling along the rope the student is unsuccessful at displacing the student at the end. Pulling at 90< easily wins the Tug of War.
F=2Tsin
T=F/2sin

For small angles, 1/sin is large and for a small force F the tension required of the end student to resist being dragged is large. For example: at =10°, 1/sin=5.8 and T3F to be stable. The end student is seldom that strong.
