Make a peer-presentation once during the fall and spring at a team, department, or school meeting about a topic of your chosing, such as a presentation about the LAMSS Project, specific topics learned during your LAMSS training, Edusoft, etc.

Earth Science for Middle School
Sept 8, Sept 29, Oct 20, Nov 10, Jan 5 -- 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; and Jan 11 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Suzanne O'Connell, Associate Professor for Earth and Environmental Science, Wesleyan University

January 11 class meets 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Mattabasset Wastewater Treatment plant; dinner will be provided back at Wesleyan, followed by the final course lecture. DIRECTIONS

January 5: full-day lecture 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Wesleyan.

October 20 class will meet on campus first -- then will move to the "outdoor classroom."

Sept 29: class will include a trip to an area with sand pits
-wear shoes
-contact lenses are not recommended
-wear long pants and socks -- some poison ivy may be in the area.

REMINDER: Submit final project ideas to Dr. O'Connell ASAP!
