Directions to Wesleyan University

From Hartford and points north: Take I-91 south to Exit 22 for Route 9 southbound, and follow the signs to Wesleyan. At Exit 15, turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington St). In Middletown, cross Main St., Broad St. and Pearl St.  Then turn left onto High St. To go to PIMMS: turn right onto Church St.; Church St. becomes Cross St. at the Intersection of Pine St. Continue on Cross St.; the PIMMS house is a short distance past the Freeman Center on the right -- parking is in the back. To go to the Science Center: From High St. continue past Church St.; turn right on Lawn Ave. The back entrance to the Science Center is a short distance on the right. Look for street parking on Lawn, Home, or Brainerd Ave.

From New Haven, New York and points south: Take I-95 north to I-91 north to Exit 18 for Route 66 east which becomes Washington St. in Middletown. Or, take I-95 north to the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15 north) to Route 66 eastbound, and follow the signs to Wesleyan. Route 66 east  becomes Washington St. in Middletown. To go to PIMMS: after several miles, turn right onto Vine St.; bear right onto Knowles Ave. just past the tennis courts; then turn right onto Cross St. The PIMMS house is on the right, a short distance past the Fire Station (which is on the left) -- parking is in the back. To go to the Science Center: from Washington St. turn right onto Vine St. Then, turn left at the light onto Church St. and make an immediate right onto Pine St. Take the first left onto Lawn Ave.  The Science Center is a short distance on the left. Look for street parking on Lawn, Brainerd, or Home Ave.

From Waterbury and points west: Take I-84 east to exit 27 to Routes 691/66 east. Take Exit 57 over the Charter Oak Bridge and follow the signs to I-91 south, using Exit 86. Take I-91 south to Exit 22 for Route 9 southbound.
