Copernicus Educational Gateway offers K-12 resources for teachers, students, and families.

Digital Library for Earth System Education is a grassroots, community-based effort involving teachers, students, and scientists working together to create a library of educational resources and services to support Earth system science education, at all levels.

Science Hobbyist for Grades 7-12
Lots of links to information about science education, science projects, and "weird science".

Problem of the Week Homepage for Grades K and up
Site contains links to regularly updated problem sources for students of all grade levels. Each is evaluated for quality of problems, quality of site, and availability of answers and solutions. Dr. Sproule also has a page of math links at Math Education Websites (although some of these links do not work).

Bill Nye, the Science Guy contains 40 science demos.

Science Fair Central has links for teachers, students, and parents.

MathsNet for Grades 6-12
Somewhat difficult to navigate without a large screen, but lots to explore.

Shack's Math Problems for Grades 9 and up
Site provides over 140 math and logic problems that apply concepts from algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, and the calculus. Problems are marked with one of four levels of difficulty. Links to other sites are included.

Christopher Columbus (formerly called Bayer/NSFAwards) is a competition for students in grades 6-8. Teams of four students with an adult coach use science and technology to identify a community problem and develop a solution. Entry deadline is in January.
