A Implement a credit/debit card system for purchases covered by MERA to replace current manual reimbursement process. These cards would allow for direct payment of allowable medical expenses and provide better confidentiality of information related to these purchases Referred to Benefits Office
1 As light bulbs need replacing around campus, replace them with energy efficient bulbs. Referred to Physical Plant
3 Check all senior wood-frame houses for lights that are constantly on and have no switch allowing the residents to turn them off. Several houses have these in hallways and other common areas. If these are required to be on by fire codes, at least install motion sensors to turn them off when no one is in the area, or perhaps install timers to turn them off during the day when they are entirely unnecessary. Referred to Physical Plant

By letting the requestor sign off on the work order it would be a more concise record of hourly charges and/or possible duplicate charges. Referred to Physical Plant
5 When purchasing computers (PC's & Mac's) require that their power supplies be rated "80 Plus" certified. Click Here to see more. Referred to ITS
6 Put some kind of weather stripping on the front doors of 318 High St. There's about a 1/2 inch gap between the 2 doors.  Referred to Physical Plant
7 Produce paperless monthly telephone and fax long distance charges reports for University Offices  Referred to ITS
