The Purchasing Department buys various goods and services to support 2,750 full time students and 850 staff and faculty members.  The University maintains more than 75 buildings, including classrooms, cafeterias, power plants, residences and other maintenance facilities.  Purchases include lab equipment from grants and contracts established through various governmental agencies and businesses.
