REUNION &
COMMENCEMENT WEEKEND IS A FAMILY
EVENT—BRING THE KIDS!
The entire family
is strongly encouraged to participate in
Reunion & Commencement Weekend.
While you attend various activities,
your children (ages 4 months through 12
years) may enjoy Camp Cardinal, a
supervised program created to entertain
children during the weekend.
Wesleyan’s Camp Cardinal Program is divided into three groups based on age.
Children under 6 years old will be cared for at the Neighborhood Preschool, a facility with licensed instructors located on the Wesleyan campus. The Children’s
Program (ages 6 through 12) is held on campus and supervised by carefully selected Wesleyan students.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
We’re pleased to offer our popular preschool program for your children ages 4 months to 5 years old. For the tenth consecutive year, the Neighborhood Preschool—a licensed day-care facility serving the Middletown and Wesleyan communities—will operate a special program exclusively for children of
alumni and parents attending Reunion & Commencement Weekend. Its professional, trained staff will organize games and other activities and will also provide quiet time, when needed, for the younger children in the group. The Preschool is conveniently located on the Wesleyan campus at 115 High Street, near the Butterfield residence halls.
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
The
Children’s Program will provide
entertainment and supervision for
6-to-12-year-olds attending Reunion
& Commencement Weekend. The program
begins on Friday afternoon with games
and activities, including the sixth
annual all-campus scavenger hunt, and
concludes with a pizza party and movies.
Saturday’s schedule features more
games and outdoor activities on campus.
Your children can look forward to a
picnic lunch, swimming in the Freeman
Athletic Center Pool, large-screen
movies, a chemistry lesson, magic
tricks, and an ice cream sundae party.
