RESIDENCE HALLS

Residence hall space is extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority for residence halls will be given to WESeniors (the Classes of 1918-1951) and members of the Fifth Reunion Class of 1997.

If you request on-campus housing you will be notified with your registration confirmation postcard (if registering by mail) or by registration confirmation e-mail (if registering via the Web) whether or not you have secured on-campus housing. If you obtain on-campus housing, your hotel room can be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you do not receive on-campus housing, you will be refunded your housing fee when bookkeeping is complete in late June.

Details about on-campus accommodations will be sent with your registration and housing confirmation. A $25 refundable key deposit will be required when you obtain your housing assignment and key at the Check-in and Hospitality site.

If you secure on-campus housing, you will receive details with your Reunion & Commencement 2002 registration confirmation regarding what to bring, when to check in and check out, and how to obtain keys. If you wish to be assigned to a room adjacent to a classmate (or classmates), you and the other parties must make that request in writing-and in advance-on the registration form included in your preliminary program and registration brochure or by emailing Ryan Eschauzier in the Alumni Relations Events Office. We will then do our best to fulfill your request.

Keep in mind that residence hall rooms are basic, with little furniture or creature comforts. Residence Halls do not have air-conditioning, and most rooms are singles. There are no private baths; each floor shares a community bath with women on one floor and men on another. We encourage you to bring whatever makes you feel at home, such as a hair dryer, mirror, alarm clock, pillow, extra blankets, or clothes hangers.
