Housing/Accommodations
for Parents and Families of the Class of 2004
Parents and families of the Class of 2004
should arrange for hotel/motel
accommodations as soon as possible. Please refer to the “About Wesleyan”
section of the University Web site at
www.wesleyan.edu/about/lodging.ctt for
information regarding local accommodations.
Bed and breakfast accommodations are available in private homes of families
of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, the oldest church in
Middletown, which has a long history of ties to Wesleyan. Reservations
for Reunion & Commencement will be accepted after April 1, by contacting
Chuck or Julie Hurlburt, coordinators, at 860-529-1074 or
mcchair1015@cshore.com. Nightly
rates are $65 for double occupancy or $50 for single occupancy.
Messages also can be left for Ellen Little, secretary at the First Church of
Christ office at 860-345-6657, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Housing/Accommodations for Alumni
Hotels and Motels
Alumni are strongly encouraged to make reservations at the hotel
where their class has blocked rooms—even if they plan to request campus
housing. Rooms are limited, and there is a high demand placed on area
lodging during the holiday weekend. When calling a hotel, make sure to
request the “Wesleyan Class of __ Reunion” block of rooms. The
reservation cutoff date for blocked hotel rooms varies by hotel.

Residence Halls
For alumni who prefer to stay on campus, reunion classes will be housed
together in the recently renovated Clark Hall (reserved for WESeniors and
the 50th Reunion Class of ’54) and the Foss Hill residence halls (reserved
for other Reunion classes). Residence hall space is limited and available on
a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost is $75 per person (not per night) regardless of the number
of nights you plan to stay. An additional $25 refundable key deposit will be
required when you obtain your housing assignment and key at Registration
(Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, 330 High Street). What
to Bring
Keep in mind that residence hall rooms are basic, with little furniture or
creature comforts. There are no private baths; each floor shares a community
bath. A linen packet, including
sheets, blanket, pillow, and towel is provided for each bed. The Foss Hill
Residence halls are not air-conditioned (Clark Hall is); all beds are
twin-sized. You might want to bring: a reading lamp, hangers, a small fan,
an alarm clock, a hair dryer, a mirror, an iron, and/or extra blankets,
towels or pillows. A limited number of extra blankets will be available at
Registration.
Residence Hall Room Assignments
If you wish to be assigned to a room adjacent to a classmate (or
classmates), you and all other parties involved must make the request in
writing—and in advance—on the attached registration form (or online). We
will do our best to fulfill your request. Room assignments will be available
when you pick up your welcome packet at Registration.
