Parents and Families of Graduating Seniors
Accommodations
Parents and families of the Class of 2004 should arrange for hotel/motel
accommodations as soon as possible. Please refer to the “About Wesleyan”
section of the University Web site at
www.wesleyan.edu/about/lodging.ctt for
information regarding local accommodations.
Bed and breakfast accommodations
are available in private homes of families of the First Church of Christ,
Congregational, the oldest church in Middletown, which has a long history of
ties to Wesleyan. Reservations for Reunion & Commencement will be
accepted after April 1, by contacting Chuck or Julie Hurlburt, coordinators,
at 860-529-1074 or
mcchair1015@cshore.com. Nightly rates are $65 for double occupancy or
$50 for single occupancy. Messages also can be left for Ellen Little,
secretary at the First Church of Christ office at 860-345-6657,
Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Commencement Ceremony Rain Plan
In case of rain, the ceremony will take place under the large tent on Andrus
Field. Since seating for guests will be limited, we respectfully ask you to
reduce the number of your guests who will be sitting under the tent to
three. There will be additional audio coverage of the ceremony in the
Memorial Chapel.

any questions at 860/685-7323.

Don’t Forget
Bring your camera, scrapbooks, Wesleyan memorabilia, music, and anything
else that will make the weekend special. May weather can be unpredictable in
New England; we recommend that you bring a light jacket and umbrella.
Wesleyan’s athletic facilities and fields will be open throughout Reunion &
Commencement Weekend; bring your suit/bathing cap/towel/racket/softball
glove/Frisbee, etc., and check your final schedule for facility hours.
