The 174th Commencement Ceremony

A live broadcast of the Commencement ceremony will be available in the Memorial Chapel, Patricelli '92 Theater, Crowell Concert Hall, and Room 150, Exley Science Center,  rain or shine.  The ceremony may also be viewed online. Commencement Ceremony Rain Plan
In case of inclement weather, please call the main University number at (860)685-2000 to determine whether or not the University will institute the rain plan for the Commencement Ceremony. Detailed information regarding the rain plan will be available on the Wesleyan home page at www.wesleyan.edu, and via a broadcast voice mail to graduating seniors. The ceremony will be simulcast in the Memorial Chapel, Patricelli ’92 Theater, Crowell Concert Hall, and Room 150, Exley Science Center if the rain plan is implemented.
 

President’s Commencement Celebration
A picnic celebrating the Class of ’06 will take place immediately following the Commencement ceremony. Due to the size of the gathering, families and students who wish to meet during the picnic are encouraged to identify a “meeting place ” in advance (e.g., one of the buildings on College Row).

Diploma Cover Recycling
Any 2006 graduate who will not have use for the diploma cover that is handed out during Commencement may recycle the cover by dropping it off in the lobby of North College after the ceremony. A box marked "Diploma Cover Recycling" will be located in the lobby.
