Class of 1977 30th Reunion Gift

This year, our class is hoping to raise $462,000 for Wesleyan, in honor of our Reunion, through the Wesleyan Fund. Our gifts support the University's highest priorities including financial aid. This is a very special year for Wesleyan as we are also celebrating our 175th anniversary.

2007 Reunion Weekend Schedule

May 25 Friday\

'77 WESHUCK FEST!, Friday evening reception for the class of '77 with Fisher Island Oysters thanks to Steve Malinowski. Meet at the Davison Art Center for food, cash bar and '70’s tunes.

May 26 Saturday

'77 CLASS DINNER, Saturday night at 5:30 at '92 Theater. After a sumptuous feast, we will be launched to the dance floor by our own Lenny Stamm '77 and the Crimestoppers, his DC band, and other musical geniuses we might remember. The ultimate reunion event —catch up with everybody.

May 27 Sunday

BAGEL NOSH, Sunday 9:30–11:30 at Davenport Campus Center. Get in your last licks over breakfast before hitting the road (unless you have a graduate to celebrate and some of us do!)

'77 WES SEMINARS on Saturday:
At Home in the Holy Land, 10:30: Michael and Rachel Balf will unpack their year of living on a Kibbutz in Israel.
Muddle Years III, 1:30: Join Brian Fay, Iddy Olson and David Levit for meaningful, small group explorations of mid–life trials and triumphs.
Coeducation at Wesleyan: The 1872–1912 Experiment, 2:00: Suzy Taraba is part of a panel that will explore Wesleyan’s claim to fame as the only undergraduate institution in the US that has “gone coed” twice.
Picking a President: A Look Ahead to Campaign 2008, 3:30: Jane Eisner moderates a panel of alumni who are watching the campaign closely for a conversation about what makes this race unique.
Translating the Languages of Medicine, 4:00: Jim DeCaprio will sit on the panel of docs at the forefront of new medical technologies and choices health care consumers are facing.

Reunion Accommodations

Our class will be staying at the Hampton Inn (Rocky Hill, CT, 860/563–7877). The rates are $149 night. Reserve your room soon, before the hotel fills up.  When you call, please ask for the "Wesleyan Reunion" block in order to get the special rate. A limited number of dorm rooms will also be available if you would prefer to stay on campus. Dorm rooms are $100 per person for the weekend and you can reserve your room when you officially register for Reunion in March.
