Reunion Schedule

The preliminary schedule will be available online and sent via snail mail in March. For a sample of what we might enjoy, check out last year's schedule. The general flow of the weekend is:

Happy hour and dinner in Middletown at La Boca on Main Street, 7:00 p.m.
May 25

Friday

WESeminars all day, picnic lunch, class cocktail party, all–college dinner with special tables reserved for the Class of '82, Eclectic Party and other great late–night events.
May 26

Saturday

more WESeminars all day, traditional Alumni Parade and Assembly, all–college picnic lunch and Festival on Foss Hill, class reception and dinner, All–college Sing, late–night parties.
May 27

Sunday

Brunch, 175th Commencement, and good–byes!

Class Book

We are putting together a special 25th Reunion yearbook. It will be given out at Reunion and mailed to everyone who cannot make it.

Update (March 28, 2007): The final deadline (and we mean it this time!) has come and gone. If you missed sending something in about yourself, we're sorry we won't be able to read what you've been up to, but hope you enjoy all the memories that were submitted when you receive your book.

Reunion Accommodations

Our class will be staying at the Rocky Hill Marriott (phone 860/257-6000). Rates are $139/night. Reserve your room soon, before the hotel fills up! When you call, please ask for the "Wesleyan Reunion" block. Dorm rooms will also be available starting in March if you'd prefer to stay on campus. You can reserve your room when you officially register for Reunion.

25th Reunion Fundraising

We have ambitious goals for the 25th Reunion Class Gift. If the class raises $500,000 this year (by June 30, 2007), Wesleyan will name an '82 scholar. If the class raises $750,000, Wesleyan will name two '82 scholars or one scholarship and a room on campus. If the class raises $1 million, Wesleyan will name a combination of any three of the above. We hope you will make a stretch gift in honor of our 25th. A class challenge has been established to help bring in as much money as possible: A group of classmates will match the first $1,000 given by any classmate. There is an additional 10:1 match for gifts made by classmates who have not given in the last ten years (maximum of $1,000 to be matched).
