Ricardian Explorer is an interactive computer game that simulates the functioning of the Ricardian model of international trade. The game is developed as a tool to complement courses in international trade, but it can be used in introductory and intermediate microeconomics courses as well. In addition, the program provides for different game specifications which allow experimental economists to design experiments and use Ricardian Explorer to collect data for their studies. To play the Ricardian Explorer game you need to have an account. Wesleyan students automatically have an account and can log in to a game using their email user name and password. Students from other schools can log in to a game only after the instructor has set up an account. Instructors from other schools should contact Manolis Kaparakis (mkaparakis@wesleyan.edu) to set up the necessary accounts. |
