Fall 2009

Dear Honors Candidate,

To assist in the thesis submission process, the Registrar's Office has developed a comprehensive packet outlining important information you need to know in order to prepare and submit your thesis or essay for honors consideration.  Click on the following links to access:

Remember, the thesis/essay submission deadline is 4 pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.  Instructions on how to access the Thesis Registration System through your portfolio will be sent to you in early April. You must complete the following steps in order to register your thesis or essay by the deadline.

STEP 1  Upload and register a PDF version of your thesis or essay through your portfolio before 4 pm on Tuesday, April 13th.  During this process, you will be asked to indicate the total number of copies you would like to have printed and bound . All associated fees will automatically be charged to your Student Account.  You will also be asked to complete a Thesis Reproduction Agreement for Olin Library.

STEP 2  If your department/program requires printed reader copies, deliver these immediately in clearly marked sealed manila envelopes to your readers (or to the administrative assistant in the department/program, if your readers are anonymous). You are responsible for knowing if your department requires reader copies and where these need to be delivered.  If you are not sure, check with your department before the thesis/essay registration deadline.

We suggest that you refer to the links provided here throughout the year.  Please also refer to the Honors Website for detailed information.  If you have any questions about the thesis submission process, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.  I can be reached via email at elabriola@wesleyan.edu.

All the best,

Beth Labriola
