THORNDIKE FUND
What is it?
The Thorndike Fund exists to help reimburse students for the costs of preparing
a thesis or other Honors project. Each year the available money is stretched
to go as far as possible in meeting student requests for assistance with
printing and binding. Seniors with Honors projects in studio art and film
are also eligible to apply to this Fund.
How to apply:
Submit Thorndike application to Beth Labriola detailing your copying, printing
and binding costs. Applications will be available in March outside the
Registrar's office. YOU MUST INCLUDE RECEIPTS OR YOU WILL BE TAXED ON THE REIMBURSEMENT.
Be specific about the amount of money you have spent and name the sum you
would like to receive. At the very least, request the cost
of the two theses you must print and bind for the department and Olin. Everyone
is eligible, you do not need to be receiving financial aid, but need
may be a factor in the reimbursement amounts.
Thesis submission day, April 14, 2008
, is the last day on which Thorndike
Fund applications are accepted.
You will be notified via email when the
funds are granted. If your request is granted you should receive a check
before Commencement.
