Dates Important To Course Registration         Fall 2007  Spring 2008 Fall 2007  August 20 Monday Planning Period begins. New students and those returning from leave/study abroad may begin submitting ranked requests for Fall '07 registration. August 28  Tuesday Class of 2011, new transfer, visiting and exchange students, readmitted students and those returning from leaves and study abroad arrive. August 29-30 Wednesday, Thursday Students meet with advisors to discuss course selections for upcoming semester and finalize plans online. August 30 Thursday Students' selections must be approved by their faculty advisor by 5:30 p.m. for consideration in the scheduling period. August 31 Friday Adjustment Period (8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m.)  Students will access the system, staggered by the number of credits reserved. During this period students can add courses with seats available or drop courses reserved during the scheduling period. Advisors approve changes electronically. September 4 Tuesday Classes begin     Electronic Drop/Add System Opens at 8:30 a.m.  Links will be activated in faculty and student portfolios.   September 17 Monday Electronic Drop/Add System Closes at 11:59 p.m. October 12 Friday Last day to withdraw from 1st quarter classes. (Instructor signature and class dean signature required; faculty advisor signature always required). November 7-20 Wednesday -    Tuesday Planning Period for continuing undergraduate students who will not be on leave or study abroad in the Spring semester, for Spring 2008. Students submit ranked requests for Spring '08 registration. Students meet with advisors to discuss course selections for upcoming semester and finalize plans online. Students selections must be approved by their faculty advisor for consideration in the scheduling period. November 21-26 Wednesday -    Monday Scheduling period.  Students review courses scheduled. November 15 Thursday  Last day to withdraw from full semester and 2nd quarter classes. (Instructor signature and class dean signature required; faculty advisor signature always required.)
