REQUESTS

The
Registrar's Office will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday,
November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please plan accordingly when
making transcript requests.
Normal
processing time of transcripts is FIVE days from the date received.

TRANSCRIPTS: Transcripts may only
be released with the written consent of the student, per the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of
1974. If you wish to order transcripts,
we will need a SIGNED, WRITTEN
request from the student. Please use the transcript request form available
below. Because we are required to have a signed release, we cannot process
telephone of e-mail requests.

Current Students:
Stop
by the Registrar's Office and fill out a Transcript Request Form or download the
Transcript
Request Form using
Adobe
Acrobat Reader and bring it to the Registrar's
Office.

Alumni/Inactive Students:
Download the
Transcript
Request Form using
Adobe
Acrobat Reader
and send it to the Registrar's Office. Please also include the following:

a check or money
order made payable to Wesleyan University (see fee schedule below)

if sending
forms, also include specific directions for completion
TRANSCRIPT FEE: The fee is $5.00 (U.S.
currency only) per copy for current students, alumni and non-active students
(payable by check or money order). Full
payment must be received with your transcript request unless you are a current
student and are billing to your student account. Make your check or money order payable to Wesleyan
University and mail it with your signed written request to:

ALL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS ARE SENT IN SEALED
ENVELOPES.

We do not send unofficial copies of
transcripts to students or alumni.

No transcript will be released to or
for any student with an outstanding financial obligation.

The transcript does not include
credit/unsatisfactory written evaluations. If requested on the form under
additional comments or instructions, all copies of written evaluations on
file with the Registrar will be included with the transcript. This does not
include written evaluations on file with the College of Letters;
students/alumni who majored in the College of Letters should contact COL to
request a letter of evaluation/letters of recommendation.
