Please use this Ranking Form to help organize your preference on your selection day!
We have done some of the math for you to help you determine
what types of housing might be available when it is your turn to select. Since groups are able to split and merge, it
is difficult to predict with complete accuracy, so please consider the following
to be guesstimates.
Rising seniors
- At this point, there are enough two, three, and
six person houses for those size groups.
- There are enough five person units (houses and
apartments) for the five person groups.
- If you
are a four person group with a rank after 173, you will probably need to
re-configure to a different size group to select senior-appropriate housing. Please consider attending the Mix, Mingle and
Merge on Thursday, April 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Daniel Family
Commons.
Rising juniors
- If you are a four person group with a rank after
250, you will probably need to reconfigure to a different size.
- There may be extra five person apartments for
junior groups to select (i.e. 1 Vine and 65 Pearl). If your group is interested in reconfiguring
to select these apartments, we encourage you to attend the Mix, Mingle and
Merge on Thursday, April 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Daniel Family
Commons.
- We anticipate there will be enough apartments
for the groups of rising juniors.
Rising sophomores
- We anticipate we will have enough beds for all
students registered for room selection this year!
- We will provide more specific information
regarding how many single and double rooms are left in each of the buildings as
it gets closer to your selection nights.
- Half the class will live in Butterfield (please
see the exciting plans for the summer renovations that will transform the
common spaces in Butterfield, available at http://www.wesleyan.edu/masterplan/butterfield_detail.html).
- A small percentage of sophomores will live in
Nicolson and Hewitt, based on what is available after the juniors select.

We just found out that a duplex that is currently being
rented by faculty will be vacated this summer, and Physical Plant has offered
it for undergraduate use next year. We
will have photos and floor plans available at room selection tonight. 264 A Court Street is four single
bedrooms. 264 B Court Street, the
upstairs unit, is two bedrooms, one of which is a single, the other a
double. All bedrooms, including the
double, will be furnished with full size beds. We are not able to load it into the bookmarks
at this point of room selection, but you will be able to select it manually
tonight.
These units will replace 167 Vine and 171 Vine, which will
be removed from the room selection process.
