
Check-in / Check-out Process
Check-In
New
graduate students will be able to move into their fall assignments on or after
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Graduate students can check-in at the Office of
Residential Life between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday. Students anticipating an arrival past 5 p.m. or on a weekend day because
of travel plans must contact The Office of Residential Life so that the appropriate
arrangements can be made. Residential Life can be reached 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.,
Monday through Friday at 860-685-3550.
Check-Out
Graduate students who will not be attending
Wesleyan for the Fall 2013 semester must move out of their units by May 31,
2012 or request an extension (see information below).
1. Communicate move-out date to Amy Miller at the Office of Residential Life
2. Move all belongings out (any items left behind will result in
a charge placed on your
account).
3. Clean the unit (remove trash and recycling, vacuum and dust all rooms).
4. Return the keys to Amy Miller during Office hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.,
Monday - Friday)
or if the office is closed, return the keys to the drop box
located between North and South
College near the glass walkway on the High Street side of the
buildings.
Any requests for lease extensions* must be submitted in writing to the
Office of Residential Life by May 1st. Leases will not be extended
beyond June 15th. By that date, students need to move out of the unit and return
their keys to the Office of Residential Life.
If a lease extension is granted, the student is responsible for additional rent
incurred as a result. Rent will not be deducted from a stipend; instead the
student will pay Sherri Condon the remaining balance prior to leaving Wesleyan.
