Hewitt 8, 9 and 10 are home to all upper-class students living together in the hall communities. Most first-year students live in double rooms; single rooms house most second-year students. Adjoining interior doors between single rooms are locked by the university to maintain the single status of the rooms and may not be unlocked. The buildings contain a community kitchen, study lounges, social lounges and performance space. Upper-class students serve as RA staff who provide both social and informative programs for the residents. The complex overlooks Foss Hill, a grassy scenic spot for lounging and socializing.

Science Hall - Hewitt 8
Science House will strive to provide a positive, supportive living environment for people interested in the sciences as well as unifying the scientific community on the Wesleyan campus. The house will also provide science out reach to the Wesleyan and Middletown community through mentoring and various other programs.
