Trash Pick-up
For
students living in wood frames, some program houses, or in graduate housing,
curbside trash is picked up
once a week by the City of Middletown according to the
schedule below.

*Items available
for recycling: glass bottles, metal cans, #1 & #2 plastic containers, drink boxes,
milk cartons, aluminum foils & pie plates, mixed paper, magazines & catalogs,
newspaper, junk mail, paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes). Please make sure all
items are clean before setting them out for recycling. Recycling containers must
be brought to the curb the night before scheduled pick-up and returned to the
rear of the house the same day as the pick-up. |
Residence halls and apartments
are responsible for taking recyclables to the nearest recycling collection area. Check with your RA if you need more information.
The following program houses have
recycling pick-up by Wesleyan.
These houses are provided with a set of 3 outdoor 95-gallon recycling bins:
1) mixed paper, 2) newspaper, and 3) glass*metal*plastic. Residents are expected to bring all basic recycling to these outdoor locations where it will be picked up by Wesleyan's private hauler.
