Services & Costs

The following are some general guidelines for costs associated with event planning. All of these are subject to change based on the nature of the event but will provide a guide to assist in outlining a budget.

Furniture

Wesleyan Tables & Chairs $28 per person per hour for drop-off and pick-up*
CT Rental Tables (6',8' long & 5' rounds) $8.75 per table
CT Rental Chairs $1.10 per chair
Wesleyan Staging $28 per person per hour for drop-off and pick-up*
CT Rental Charcoal Grill $45 per grill (no charcoal included)
CT Rental Propane Grill $60 per grill (no propane included)

Staff

Custodial $15 flat rate for post meal clean up
  2 hr. minimum on weekends at $28 per hour
Physical Plant Movers $28 per person per hour*
Public Safety Officer $50 per hour, 4 hour minimum
Public Safety Supervisor $60 per hour, 4 hour minimum
Middletown Police Dept Officer $65 per hour, 4 hour minimum
Electrician $38 per hour*

Audio/Visual

WSA Sound Co-op $12 per hour for equipment and technicians + $20 processing fee

Rates for Instruction Media Services (IMS) will vary based on the amount of equipment you need and the level of assistance you will need to set-up and manage your event.

*Note: Fridays after 3pm, Saturdays, and Sundays there is a two hour minimum charged for each staff member needed to assist your event. This charge applies each time that person comes to campus for that specific event.
