 Office of Graduate Student Services

The Office of Graduate Student Services (OGSS) is the administrative home base for all graduate students enrolled in courses in the Master of Arts (MA) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) science, social science and music programs at Wesleyan. The office provides all administrative and nonacademic support services to this constituent base. In administering the policies and procedures of the program, the staff works closely with the graduate department chairs and the faculty. The Graduate Office’s responsibilities have grown to meet the expanding needs of its constituents, both students and faculty. The office’s general responsibilities include admissions, student records and registration, payroll and stipend maintenance, billing, immigration, health insurance administration, graduation/commencement, the Graduate Judicial Board, record keeping, and the provision of administrative support to the director of graduate studies, research, and Office of Residential Life.

The Office of Graduate Student Services is also responsible for the administration of all admissions into the BA/MA program in the sciences, the admission of graduate German exchange students from the Regensburg and Baden-Wurtenburg programs, the admissions of the Native Language Teaching Assistants in the department of Romance languages and literatures, and the admission of the Ford Fellows from the Writing Workshop.
