PreCollege Study at Wesleyan University:
Two ways to participate

Residential Scholars

Wesleyan University offers a special 5 week college immersion opportunity for a select group of students during Summer Session II (July 5 - August 5). Wesleyan PreCollege Residential Scholars students take one of two intensive writing courses and an elective course in their area of interest. Beyond the classroom, students can participate in Social Justice Leadership training and benefit from faculty mentorship. Additional activities will be organized by Residential Advisors. Space in the PreCollege Study residential program is limited to 12. Students are encouraged to apply early as applications will be considered until all spaces have been taken. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots in the program have been filled. You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting our Residential Scholars page. Please note: the deadline for international applications has passed.

Local Students

Students who live locally can take a course or two during Summer Session I and Summer Session II. Courses meet daily and the homework expectation is high, so it is essential that students are able to attend all class meetings. Visit our Local Students page to learn more about PreCollege Study for commuters.
