David Leff, a former deputy commissioner of the state Department of Environmental Protection, will be giving an author talk at the Russell Library on his newest book in which he embarks on a journey following the footsteps of Thoreau and his brother: Deep Travel, In Thoreaus Wake on the Concord and the Merrimack Rivers.
