    A reception and talk celebrating the opening of the Special Collections & Archives exhibition "Saved From Europe: the Kallir Family Collection of Austrian and German Literature." Otto Kallir was an Austrian art collector and dealer, publisher, and book collector, who emigrated from Vienna to New York shortly before World War II. Well-connected in both art and literary circles, his book collection features works by Thomas Mann, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Franz Kafka, Rainer Maria Rilke, and others.
