Footnote (with English subtitles) written and directed by Joseph Cedar. This Academy Award-nominated film is set within the academic setting of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The film follows the complicated relationship between Eliezer and Uriel, a father and son, who also are rival professors in Talmudic studies. Their relationship reaches a new peak when they find out that Eliezer will be lauded for his work.
