ITS Training

January 2012 Workshops

During January and periodically through the semester, ITS will be offering 1-hour topic based workshops.  Below are workshops scheduled for January.  No registration is required.

** The WesFiles workshop is an open session to answer questions.  No formal outline will be followed.  New users of WesFiles are encouraged to attend.  If you would like to submit a specific question/problem in advance, email training@wesleyan.edu

All classes take place in PAC 100 training room.   

Periodically through the year, ITS will offer instructor-led classes on various topics.  Recent ones have included WesFiles, Acrobat, and Windows 7.  Announcements are made via email and the schedule is posted here as classes are available.  Registration occurs through the EPortfolio. Scheduled classes take place in the ITS Training Facility located in the Public Affairs Center (PAC) Room 100.

Cascade and Front Page

Training on Cascade is being provided to each department as they migrate to the new web content management system. There are also open question and answer sessions on Thursday afternoons in PAC100 for anyone who would like to show up for assistance. Until a department has moved to Cascade, staff should continue to use their current application for web site maintenance.

Microsoft Self-Paced On-Line eLearning
