Wesleyan’s  Transportation Department offers a grocery shuttle to two Middletown grocery stores, Aldi and Price Chopper. This free service operates twice a week: Every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The van leaves from the Usdan University Center to Aldi and Price Chopper and returns.

Van Rental for Local and Regional travel for staff and student groups and organizations. Both daily and weekly rates are available, making van rental from your in-house service, the best value available. 

Driver Availability: If you would like the freedom of having a trained driver take care of the wheel, simply ask as we will arrange for one of our drivers to be available. Great for fieldtrips etc. (please call for rates)

Rate Schedule

Vehicle rates are set every semester to insure the best value for Wesleyan Community members. Current rates include full service support, full insurance coverage, as well as available Driver Safety Training. Vehicles are provided clean and ready to go. Unless special arrangements are made, gas is the responsibility of the renting department or agency.

Rental Rates

8 PASSENGER VAN (Automatic)
Daily rate : 110.00 (per day)

 12 PASSENGER VAN (Automatic)
Daily rate: 125.00(per Day)
(Special license required, passenger endorsement)

Rental Rates include 200 free miles per day, additional mileage charge of 0.25 per mile will be charged for long distance travel.

Transportation Services is not responsible for any tolls when you rent a vehicle.

Transportation to or from New Haven Train Station or Bradley Airport can be arranged if we have a vehicle and driver available for your requested date and time. Reservations need to be made at least 3-5 business days in advance. The fee is $80.00 one way.
