Rental of vehicles from Transportation Services establishes a legal agreement between Wesleyan University and renter.

Renter/Driver must be age 20 or older with a valid drivers license, and have insurance coverage on a personal vehicle owned or used regularly.

Drivers must have completed and passed a one hour safety driving class prior to driving a University vehicle. This class is conducted by the Transportation  Services manager.

Renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as received.

Renter agrees not to use the rented vehicle for transportation of passengers in excess of the number of seatbelts provided by the manufacturer.

Wesleyan University Transportation Services is not responsible for any personal property lost, stolen or damaged inside the rented vehicle.

All traffic fines, payments, or penalties are the personal obligation of the driver.

Wesleyan University vehicles are only to be used for University business only and not personal use.

Only the Department/Driver renting the vehicle is authorized to use the vehicle. Vehicles can not be loaned out to other departments without the permission of the Transportation Services Manager.
