Information Table Policies & Procedures

Tables are available for use only in designated indoor and outdoor spaces of the Usdan Center.  Tables may not be moved.

A maximum of 6 tables will be allowed on a daily basis, Monday through Friday only (this number does not include additional tables being used by the featured vendor for the day).  Two chairs will be supplied for each table.  Tables 1 and 2 are located in portals along the hallway by the WSA Office.  Tables 3, 4, 5, and 6 are located in portals just in front of the carpeted lounge/computer kiosk area (the middle portal in that area is to remain open).  When you arrive to use your assigned table, you should report to the Information Center Desk.  Ask the student attendant there to call the Student Manager who will show you where your table is located.  A card with your group’s name, and the time of your table reservation will be located on the top of the table.

*Display materials may only be fastened with masking tape to the assigned table itself (top or sides).  Nothing can be taped to any walls or woodwork surrounding the assigned table’s portal

Table reservation requests can be made in person during regular business hours in the Office of the Facility and Events or Evening Managers (Usdan 126A), by phone contact (X3559), or by e-mailing fmarsilli@wesleyan.edu.

Table reservations can be made by individual students, student groups, University Offices or Departments, and external organizations (if approved by University Center Staff).  Only one table may be reserved for any one day (University Center Staff can approve the use of more than one table subject to request, space, and availability).

Tables may not be reserved for more than one full week (5 business days) at a time (exceptions may be made by the University Center staff for longer tabling periods).

There will be no charge for tables related to University business, or for non-profit organizations.  For profit organizations must pay a $50.00 fee per day for a table, $75 per day for 2 or more consecutive days.

All materials on tables inside or outside the Usdan Center must comply with the University’s nondiscrimination and sexual harassment policies as outlined in the Student Handbook, and are subject to removal by University Center Staff.  Any products/services that contravene Wesleyan University’s goals, missions, or policies (i.e. fire safety: candles, incense, tapestries, etc…) will not be permitted.
