Staff:
Suzanna Tamminen, Director and Editor-in-Chief, has a B.A. '90 and MALS '94 from Wesleyan University, and has worked at the press since 1990. Her poems and essays have appeared in various journals including Prairie Schooner and The Alembic. Suzanna is an active member of the Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress. She lives in Durham with her husband, three children, two cats, and a crooked little dog.

Leslie Starr, Assistant Director and Marketing Manager, has a B.A. '76 from Cornell University in design and an MBA '85 from UConn in marketing. She has worked in direct marketing, primarily in children's publishing, for 15 years. Other experience includes marketing instrument training to pilots and kitchenware to cooks. Her personal interests include historical and environmental conservation, and she lives in Haddam with her husband.

Stephanie Elliott, Publicist, has a B.A. '96 from the University of New England in Liberal Arts. She is currently completing the Masters of Publishing program at Pace University, where she held a graduate assistantship at the Pace University Press. She also received a certificate '99 in Graphic Design from the University of New Hampshire. She comes to Wesleyan from Arcadia Publishing where she was publicity manager for the Northeast region.

Parker Smathers, Acquisitions Editor, has a B.A. '97 from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and an MFA '01 from the University of Iowa in Poetry. His poems have appeared in the Denver Quarterly and Iowa Review. Parker comes to Wesleyan from the University of Chicago Press where he was an editorial associate.
