Argus Archives Jan 31
Do you want to trace an issue back throughout the schoolyear? The
Wesleyan Argus archives all news articles on the web. Visit
www.wesleyan.edu/argus and stay informed.

Weekly Activist Tip Jan 28
WESUNITY recommends that each group appoint someone as director
of communications. This person will be responsible for establishing
and maintaining contacts with on-campus activist groups, groups at
other schools, and national groups. With very little effort you can
become part of a large movement, invigorate your members, and fight
on-campus cynicism.
WESUNITY helps to make this easier. Try using
our current
environmental contacts to locate groups relating to your
interests at other schools. Don't see the school you're looking for on our
list? We have other contacts. Email
wesunity@wesleyan.edu and we'll
be happy to help out. Share your contacts with other activists! Email us
and we'll post it on this web page.

Activist Listserve available Jan 26
An unmoderated list-serve for campus activists is now available! To
subscribe, just email
Majordomo@wesleyan.edu, and type subscribe
wesunity-l. Whatever address you send from will be subscribed. If you
use a fancy email program, be sure to send plain text, not html or rich
text. To send news to the list, once you are subscribed, email
wesunity-l@wesleyan.edu and type away!

WESUNITY in the Argus! Jan 26
Today's Argus ran a feature about the future of activism at Wesleyan.
While the centralized coordination and resources of a center for
activism would be ideal, for now we have to make the best of what is
available. Right now, Wesunity's priority is to get information about
Wesleyan activism available to all activists. We're confident that each
group will use the information to best further their own goals.

Send us news Jan 25
Wesunity wants to let campus activists keep each other informed about
their campaigns and events. This information will let us combine
member and support bases, and will make activism at Wesleyan
powerful and relevant. Send your news to
wesunity@wesleyan.edu

Student Affairs Committee Jan 18
The WSA needs to hear your voice if it is to act on your behalf.
Check out their website:
http://www.wesleyan.edu/wsa
Here's a quick summary:

The Student Affairs Committee is dedicated to acting on student
input to improve campus life. SAC addresses issues relating to
housing, campus  safety, dining services, course registration,
advising, and whatever else is deemed pertinent to student life at
Wesleyan. SAC's tasks thus far, as well as those undertaken in
conjunction with the Faculty Student Affairs  Committee,
include reviewing and enhancing the course registration and
advising systems, participating in Wesleyan's facilities planning
process, increasing campus safety, and improving Wesleyan's
post office hours. Any issue of student concern can be brought
to the attention of SAC at any time. Students may contact SAC
through the WSA Hotline, x3270, or by emailing the committee
members. SAC members are Matt Larsen, '00, Alua Arthur, '00,
Adriana Jones, '01, Zach Sandler, '01, and Andrew Suseno,'01.
