Class Description

Tai Chi is meditation in motion. Shaolin arts emphasize the
internal, not just the external form and movements.  In Tai Chi, we use
physical movements to guide internal movement. You will learn to get in
touch with this internal energy, and to direct it. Some of the many
benefits include increased concentration, reduced stress, improved
health, clarity of perception, and the personal strength and confidence to
be yourself.

More in-depth training, in all disciplines, is taught only at the temple.  Any Wesleyan Level I student can intensify and broaden their practice by training as a Level II student.

Equipment

  • Wear clothing that allows for comfortable movement

  • Bringing a bottle of water is recommended
