Ashtanga
Vinyasa Yoga - Some Experience Needed (Christina Boyd)
Yoga 4: Tuesdays @ 6:00pm
Description
This class will serve as an introduction to the primary
series in the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. This series is a flow of
invigorating postures and transitions designed to focus the breath,
stop our mental chatter, and turn our gaze inward to reach a state
of personal strength and contentment. We will be sweating and
pushing our limits, and also focusing on the pranayama (breath
work), that is so vital to this practice. Some experience with yoga/
movement is preferred for this class, but don't hesitate to come and
challenge yourself! My intention is to provide every student with a
comfortable and strong practice they can continue long after the
semester is over.

with some previous yoga experience and which would not be
appropriate for absolute beginners.

passionate about sharing her experiences and continuing to learn
