Work-Study Positions with WesWELL

WesWELL periodically has work-study positions available, which will be announced here and on the Student Employment Office Job Postings website. Students eligible for work-study are preferred, though all candidates will be considered equally. Application Process

Download the position description and application form for the position in which you are interested. Complete the application and return it to Lisa Currie, Director of Health Education. Electronic submissions by email (to lcurrie@wesleyan.edu) are encouraged or printed applications may be dropped off in person at WesWELL, Davison Health Center 202. Attaching a current resume, if available, is encouraged.

Work Study Positions

Three types of paid positions exist within WesWELL. They are:

Publicity Coordinator/Graphic Designer

One position currently available, to start September 2008. The Publicity Coordinator/Graphic Designer works closely with the Peer Health Advocates and the Director of Health Education to publicize and promote WesWELL events and services, create a graphical look for all publications and publicity, and to promote Health Services and Behavioral Health, as needed.

Peer Health Advocate Team Leader

No positions currently available. The three Team Leaders serve as leadership team who work closely with the Director of Health Education to oversee the Peer Health Advocates, a volunteer peer health education group. Students interested in this position must be current, active volunteers with the Peer Health Advocates and possess demonstrated leadership ability. 

Student Administrative Assistant

No positions are currently available. The student administrative assistant works in the WesWELL office supporting the clerical and administrative needs of the Director. Duties include filing, recordkeeping, copying, organizing and maintaining the WesWELL Resource Library, assisting with the non-credit class registration process, running errands on campus, and similar tasks.
