Women in Science is a Wesleyan student group that includes faculty and staff as well as undergraduate and graduate students. All members of the Wesleyan community who are interested in issues affecting women in science, or in participating in our various activites, are invited to join. All are welcome, regardless of major or gender.

At various times have hosted speakers, sponsored career panels, discussions, and poster sessions, gotten a chance to meet new faculty members, set up mentoring relationships between upper- and under-classwomen in the different science majors, published a newsletter and webpage and, through our outreach committee, brought science experiments to girls in local schools and sent a delegation to the National Symposium on the Advancement of Women in Science. We invite you to add your name to our e-mailing list, to be informed of upcoming events.

For more information, browse through our webpage, or contact the Steering Committee.
