The Wesleyan Music Journal is writtena and edited by Wesleyan students. This is our second issue. The original idea this tim around was to do an international issue, and to some extent this shows. This publication is funded by your student body tax, so it is up to you to see that the money is well spent. Particpate. Write about why you hate music. Otherwise, we'll just skeepy squandering your money on chicks n' booze, while telling the Student Budget Committee that it actually costs $1200 to print each issue. The Wesleyan Music Journal is an environmentally conscious publication. We recently learned that only 5 to 10% of all electricity generated in power poloants actually is successfully used in the home; the rest is used in transit. To combat this wasteful cycle, we snuck into a Proctor & Gamble plant in Elizabeth, NJ, and saved 48 hamsters from unspeakable torture. We then created 48 small turnbines, pwered by 48 small treadmills, which generated enough energy to power two Science Tower computers during production. We estimate the electricty use rate at 90%, a vertible environmental coup. |
