The Wesleyan Music Journal is written and produced by Wesleyan students and anyone else who cares to contribute. This is our fifth issue, and our second this semester. We are a little skimpier than last issue, and our paper is not as pretty nor as durable as last time, but we trust that you love us for what's inside, and not for our glossy surface. If you want glossy, pick up an issue of Grail. They get more money for their front page than we get for an entire issue. Plus, we have to ask for money twice before we get any. Poin is, WMJ is punk fucking rock. This issue, we bring you a semi-comprehensive guide of local music venues, a non-comprehensive slate of interviews with Wesleyan bands, two articles from people in Australia, and a host of other good things. We're keeping it real and going global. Please read and enjoy

We hold semi-regular meetings which are advertised on campus and are open to all who would like to get involved. We accept all submissions on anything musical...nay, we encourage them. Please direct all inquireies and submissions to box 4892, Wesleyan University, Middletown CT, 06459. Or by email to cmonaco@wesleyan.edu. The next issue is scheduled for Fall 1999. Until then, visit the new website (you're already here actually) to slake that deep-down body WMJ thirst.
