Writers Conference. You will find an

A registration
form is available here (see the left
panel). You may register until
January 30 at the 2008 rates.
The Wesleyan Writers Conference welcomes new writers,
established writers, and anyone
anyone interested in the writer's
craft.
The program includes seminars,
readings, workshops, publishing
advice, and optional
manuscript consultations, all
designed to offer you new
perspectives on your work and the
company of other writers who share
your interests.

techniques, poetry, memoir, essay,
long-form nonfiction, and
multi-media work, as well as
guest speakers, lectures, readings,
(optional) manuscript consultations,
and publishing advice.

2007 Conference participant, Ted Wheeler, has been selected for
the next edition of the
prestigious BEST
NEW AMERICAN VOICES anthology.
Each
year the Conference selects two
outstanding stories written by
Conference participants and
nominates them for the next edition
of the anthology, a collection of
work by some of the nation's most
promising new writers. Other
Wesleyan winners appearing recently
in BEST NEW AMERICAN VOICES include
Elizabeth Kadetsky, Dan Pope, and
Michael Lowenthal.
