Writing Residencies
Writing Hall
Writing Hall is a residence in Clark Hall for freshman interested in writing and being surrounded by writers. Residents are active members of the Wesleyan writing community, whether they participate in formal events at Russell House or enjoy casual discussions over dessert with fellow residents. Last year, they collaborated with Writing House to screen talks by writers at the annual TED Conference and hosted a successful Open Mic night to share their work with friends.
Writing House
Writing House is a residence for upperclassmen interested in writing and living with writers. Residents enjoy Wesleyan's writing events, such as the Russell House Series, and host their own discussions about writing with faculty and writing fellows. This year, in collaboration with Writing Hall, Writing House screened talks from the annual TED Conference and hosted a range of other events.
