Address manuscripts to: Anne Greene, Wesleyan Writers Conference, Wesleyan University, 294 High Street, Room 207, Middletown, CT 06459. TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP OR FELLOWSHIP Scholarships are awarded competitively, and applicants are judged on the basis of promise shown in their work. Entries should consist of a work in one genre: fiction, nonfiction, or poetry. Several scholarships provide full tuition, room, and board, but most offer smaller awards, covering a part of the Conference tuition. Several teaching fellowships are available and are awarded to outstanding applicants who have completed book-length manuscripts. To apply, please submit (1) the registration form, (2) a representative sample of your work in one genre, and (3) a letter of application explaining your experience and interests and (4) a resume. You need not send a deposit with your fellowship or scholarship materials. If you are certain you will attend the Conference, however, do send the $75 deposit and registration form immediately, before completing the rest of your application. The deposit guarantees you a place at the Conference if you should not win an award.
